I danced with the death of my son. I danced with my bout of stage 3b liver cancer. I am dancing with collapse now! Each of the two previous events were gifts. I fought the first one, and lost, but it was perfect. I balanced 4,500 years of pain. The second I would not change for a moment, the lessons, the gifts, Ah! The collapse is not controllable, so dancing is the only option.

Can we live without blame? Does someone have to be in charge? Can we take action without deciding? Do we need goals or even direction to move forward? What if all of these were illusions, figments of our imagination? What would life be like without them?

As we dance with collapse, what would happen if each choice we made was made solely based on the amount of exuberant life it supported and encouraged? What if our discernment was focused on thrivability? That's the opportunity I see before us, and that's the game I'm playing. Join me!
